4th 2YO Stakes Performer for Showcasing

Former Haunui Farm stallion Showcasing (GB) (Oasis Dream) is a formiddible force in 2YO racing in both hemisphere's and continued his domination in New Zealand notching his fourth stakes performer for the season.

First-starter Amor Fati (NZ) (Showcasing) put in an impressive showing on debut to finish third in Saturday's Listed Fasttrack Insurance $5k Bonus 2YO Stakes at Counties for owner and trainer Clinton Isdale.  He joins stakes winner Playthatsong and stakes performers Showemhowitsdone and Ohio Showgirl on Showcasing's 2YO black type honour roll so far this season.

It comes as no surprise to see Showcasing at the top of New Zealand's 2YO Sires table and if history is anything to go by, it is likley to stay that way.

Karaka 2020 will be southern hemisphere buyers' last chance to secure a Showcasing through the yearling sale ring with his last New Zealand bred crop set to go under the hammer.  He has 24 yearlings catalogued.

Mark Chitty, Haunui Farm's Managing Director says, "Any buyer looking to get a 2YO should be inspecting every yearling by Showcasing, no matter what Book they are in.  Some of his best performers have flown under the radar at the sales whilst some of his higher priced yearlings have been Champions of their generation so he is definately a stallion to fit any buyer's budget.  There have only been three 2YO stakes races in New Zealand so far this season and Showcasing's have featured in the finish in all of them - need I say more."
