Nice Yearling Opportunities At Karaka May Sale

Haunui Farm's Karaka May Sale draft has moved into New Zealand Bloodstock's Sales Centre this morning and among another strong draft are seven yearlings that are well worth inspection.

New Zealand's leading sire of 2YO's, Showcasing (GB) (Oasis Dream) is represented by Lot 21 (pictured), a good-looking colt and close relation to G1 performer and stakes producer Clear Cut (NZ) (Keen). Showcasing's success in our major export markets will see this colt attracting plenty of attention.

Other sires in the draft include Haunui's proven international sire Iffraaj (GB) (Zafonic) and Per Incanto (USA) (Street Cry) whose progeny regularly prove popular in the sale ring. 

"We have always taken the opportunity to offer a number of quality weanlings at the May Sale," said Haunui Farm's Managing Director, Mark Chitty. "When we found out that NZB was looking to create a stronger yearling presence at the sale, we were happy to get in behind the concept which works well for yearlings that might have just needed that little bit extra time," says Mark.
