Haunui Stallions End Season on a High

Haunui Farm stallions Iffraaj (GB) (Zafonic) - pictured - and Showcasing (GB) (Oasis Dream) have ended the 2016/2017 racing season on a high with Iffraaj crowned the Champion 3YO Sire and Showcasing, New Zealand's Leading Sire of 2YO winners.

Topping off an already highly successful season for both sires, the icing on the cake came on Sunday and Monday as Showcasing sired yet another two-year-old feature winner in Singapore with Mr Hanks (NZ) taking the honours in the Group Three Singapore Juvenile Championship (1400m) and Iffraaj filly Iffragal (NZ) finishing a close second. And Monday's rescheduled Ryder Stakes meeting saw Iffraaj land another two-year-old stakes performer with Style By Design running third in the Listed Ryder Stakes (1200m).

Both Iffraaj and Showcasing arrived at Haunui Farm on Saturday having completed their quarantine requirements at IRT's new quarantine facility in Karaka. They've settled quickly into their New Zealand pre-season routine and are available for viewing, along with our new stallion for 2017, Belardo, at any stage.
