Another Australian G1 for Iffraaj

Almost a month into the breeding season and in the thick of feature spring racing, Haunui Farm stallion Iffraaj (GB) (Zafonic) is once again proving that he is up there with the best New Zealand has to offer.

3YO filly Melt (NZ) (Iffraaj) (pictured right) stamped her class all over the field of the G3 Northland Breeders Stakes last week and with either of New Zealand's G1 Guineas races currently on her agenda, she is an exciting classic filly for her sire.  Former Australian Derby winner Jon Snow (NZ) (Iffraaj) also put his foot in the til last week as he returned to the track in Australia to notch up a third in the G1 VRC Makybe Diva Stakes (1600m).  And this weekend, Godolphin's Jungle Cat (Ire) (Iffraaj), proved too good for his rivals when taking out the G1 MRC Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes (1400m) giving trainer Charlie Appleby his first G1 winner in Melbourne.

A sire that has cemented himself a place at the top of New Zealand's 2YO, 3YO and General Sires tables since his first southern hemispere crop hit the track in 2011, Iffraaj stands for a fee of $25,000 + GST.  With limited nominations still available for the current season, please call Mark - 021 663 995 - or Shannon - 0212 855 513 - to secure a booking for 2018.
