Showcasing Fillies Dominate Wellesley Stakes Field

Former Haunui Farm stallion Showcasing (GB) (Oasis Dream) is set to play a big role in the 2018 rendition of the Wellesley Stakes at Trentham on Saturday.  With a field of ten, Showcasing will play a strong hand with five runners set to face the starter.

Debut winners Beauty Diva, Last Sight and The Taylor's Niece join placegetters Appellent and Xplosion in the field, the latter with big shoes to fill being the full sister to current G1 1000 Guineas favourite, Xpression.

Showcasing did not return to Haunui Farm this season however, he will be well represented at Australasia's 2019 yearling sales whilst his current 2018 foals will be his last Southern Hemisphere crop.
