Mark, a third generation stud master, has been General Manager at Haunui for ten years. Living on the property, he is available 24 hours a day with his veterinary skills and expertise and his attention to detail is second to none. A respected reproductive veterinarian, Mark has his finger on the pulse when it comes to the mares at Haunui, and the fertility levels of our stallions and mares are evidence of his expertise. Largely responsible for Haunui’s success in recent years, Mark is well respected amongst his peers both in the veterinary and thoroughbred worlds. |

Shannon joined Haunui Farm in June 2005 and in that time has become an integral part of the team. She has a “hands on” background in the industry as well as a Bachelor of Management Studies degree from the University of Waikato. A recipient of the International Management Scholarship, Shannon has also held roles with New Zealand Thoroughbred Marketing and the Auckland Racing Club. With the primary focus of Marketing and Communications, Shannon’s role encompasses many areas including stallion nominations, client communication, PR and as Operations Manager, she ensures that the team at Haunui are all working well together to achieve the best results for Haunui and our clients. |

Justine joined Haunui Farm in
2010 to assist with the sale of
nominations to the Haunui Farm stallions. Based in Matamata, Justine is a familiar face to many in the industry, especially in the Waikato, having been Secretary of the Waikato Branch of the NZTBA for over ten years. A successful horse woman in her own right, Justine has carved out a reputation among the smaller vendors at the yearling sales under her Kirkwall Thoroughbreds banner and has achieved some outstanding results. |

Sue is new to the Haunui team and as our Business Manager, oversees the day-to-day accounting and administrative operations in the office.
Originating from a farming family in Blenheim, Sue
has spent many years working as an accountant and has a life time passion of anything equine. As an accountant, Sue’s skills and knowledge are an invaluable asset and if you have any queries regarding your accounts, she will be happy to assist.
